“The Seven Deadly Sins the Movie: Prisoners of the Sky” brings us the Seven Deadly Sins in feature length. Meliodas and his companions of the Seven Deadly Sins travel to a distant and remote land in search of a special phantom ingredient, the “sky fish”. Of course, it doesn’t take long for what at first seems like a simple adventure to go wrong, and Hawk and Meliodas end up in the Heavenly Palace, whose inhabitants all have wings. Separated from their comrades and seemingly trapped in the middle of an unknown civilisation, the next stroke of fate is not long in coming: Meliodas is mistaken for a boy who committed a crime in the Heavenly Palace and is thrown into the dungeon without further ado!

Meanwhile, the inhabitants of the Heavenly Palace are preparing for a ceremony to protect them from a terrifying monster that awakens once every 3,000 years. However, the Six Black Knights around Bellion, a military group of the demon clan, break the seal that kept this monster in check, causing chaos to befall the Heavenly Palace and its inhabitants! Now, of course, it is once again up to Meliodas and his gang to confront the demon clan and put an end to their machinations.

»The Seven Deadly Sins the Movie: Prisoners of the Sky« bringt uns die Seven Deadly Sins in Spielfilmlänge. Meliodas und seine Gefährten der Seven Deadly Sins reisen in ein fernes und abgelegenes Land auf der Suche nach einer speziellen Phantom-Zutat, dem »Himmelsfisch«. Natürlich dauert es nicht lang, bis das zunächst einfach erscheinende Abenteuer gehörig schiefgeht und so landen Hawk und Meliodas im Himmelspalast, dessen Bewohner allesamt Flügel haben. Von ihren Kameraden getrennt und scheinbar gefangen inmitten einer unbekannten Zivilisation, lässt der nächste Schicksalsschlag jedoch nicht lang auf sich warten: Meliodas wird mit einem Jungen verwechselt, der hier im Himmelspalast ein Verbrechen beging und wird so kurzerhand in den Kerker geworfen!

Die Bewohner des Himmelspalasts bereiten sich derweil auf eine Zeremonie vor, die sie vor einem Furcht einflößenden Monster schützen soll, das einmal alle 3000 Jahre erwacht, doch die sechs Schwarzen Ritter rund um Bellion, eine militärische Gruppe des Dämonenclans, brechen das Siegel, das dieses Monster im Zaum hielt, um so Chaos über den Himmelspalast und seine Bewohner hereinbrechen zu lassen! Nun liegt es natürlich wieder an Meliodas und seiner Gang, dem Dämonenclan entgegenzutreten und den Machenschaften der Dämonen ein Ende zu bereiten.

Meliodas et ses compagnons des Sept péchés capitaux voyagent vers une terre lointaine et isolée à la recherche d’un ingrédient spécial, le « poisson céleste ». Il ne faut bien sûr pas longtemps pour que ce qui semble être au départ une simple aventure tourne mal, faisant atterrir Hawk et Meliodas dans le Palais des Cieux, dont les habitants ont tous des ailes. Séparés de leurs camarades et apparemment piégés au milieu d’une civilisation inconnue, le prochain coup du sort ne se fait pas attendre : Meliodas est pris pour un garçon qui a commis un crime ici au Palais des Cieux et est jeté dans le donjon !

Pendant ce temps, les habitants du Palais des Cieux se préparent à une cérémonie destinée à les protéger d’un monstre terrifiant qui se réveille tous les 3 000 ans, mais les Six Chevaliers Noirs dirigés par Berlion, un groupe militaire du Clan du Démon, brisent le sceau qui maintenait ce monstre, provoquant le chaos dans le Palais des Cieux et ses habitants ! À présent, c’est à nouveau à Meliodas et à sa bande d’affronter le Clan des Démons et de mettre fin à leurs machinations.

Meliodas e I suoi compagni dei Seven Deadly Sins viaggiano in un paese lontano e remoto alla ricerca di una specifico ingrediente fantomatico, il «pesce del cielo». Naturalmente non dura a lungo fino al fallimento di un’avventura che sembrava semplice. Hawk e Melodias capitano nel Palazzo del Cielo, i cui abitanti hanno tutti ali. Separati dai loro compagni e apparentemente prigionieri nel bel mezzo di una civilizzazione sconosciuta, il prossimo colpo del destino è già dietro l’angolo: Melodias viene scambiato con un ragazzo che ha commesso un delitto nel Palazzo del Cielo e imprigionato di conseguenza!

Gli abitanti del Palazzo del Cielo si preparano per una cerimonia che dovrebbe proteggerli da un enorme mostro che appare ogni 3000 anni. Ma i sei cavalieri neri, intorno a Bellion, un gruppo di militari del clan dei demoni, rompono il sigillo che tiene sotto controllo il mostro, per provocare il caos nel palazzo e tra i suoi abitanti! Ora tocca di nuovo a Melodias e la sua gang confrontarsi con il clan dei demoni e porre termine alle macchinazioni dei demoni.
