For a long time, Japan has no longer been called the “land of the samurai”. As the time of the pirates began and Gintoki ate the forbidden fruit, he decided that he would be able to solve all his problems with money, which he could gather by finding the treasure of the pirate king. On his journey he met the beautiful Kagura who was looking for seven balls to summon a dragon – as well as the glasses monster. Of course, (almost) none of this is true, but “Gintama” wouldn’t be “Gintama” if the series wouldn’t present many references in this arc as well.
Schon lange wird Japan nicht mehr als das Land der Samurai bezeichnet. Doch als ein großes Piratenzeitalter anbrach und Gintoki von der Wirbel-Wirbel-Frucht gegessen hatte, beschloss er alle Probleme mit Geld zu lösen und begab sich deshalb auf die Suche nach dem Schatz des Piratenkönigs. Dabei traf er auf die hübsche Kagura, die sieben Bälle suchte, um einen Drachen zu beschwören – und das Brillenmonster. Und nachdem der Dämonenkönig besiegt war, stand die Hunter-Chuunin-Heldenprüfung an.

Natürlich stimmt davon (fast) nichts, doch »Gintama« wäre nicht »Gintama«, wenn die Serie nicht auch im »Ausrutscher-Arc« voller Seitenhiebe wäre.
