Love Live! Nijigasaki Gakuen School Idol Doukou-kai (2022)

The School Idol Festival is over, and although it almost looked as if the performance of the School Idol Club of Nijigasaki High School would be ruined thanks to problematic weather conditions, everything went well in the end; now the girls of the club can look to the near future with joy. Two new exchange students will soon be stirring things up: Lanzhu Zhong, who lived in Hong Kong until recently, and Mia Taylor, who is good friends with the former and is now moving from New York to this high school.

Meanwhile, the next School Idol festival is already approaching, and the Idol Club is busy shooting a promo video. Lanzhu, who is very interested in being an idol herself, is not at all convinced by the result and thus the club and decides to take part in the festival alone. Of course, the club members do not want to accept this so easily. Because a joint performance with the Y.G. International Academy is also coming up soon, the club members Emma, Kasumi, Kanata and Rina decide to form an idol group themselves and prove to Lanzhu that the club has more going for it than she thinks.

Das Schul-Idol-Festival ist überstanden, und obwohl es dank problematischer Witterung fast so aussah, als falle der Auftritt des Schul-Idol-Clubs der Nijigasaki-Oberschule wortwörtlich ins Wasser, ging am Ende alles gut; nun können die Mädchen des Clubs frohen Mutes in die nahe Zukunft schauen. Für frischen Wirbel sorgen bald zwei neue Austauschschülerinnen: Lanzhu Zhong, die bis vor Kurzem noch in Hong Kong gelebt hat, sowie Mia Taylor, die mit Ersterer gut befreundet ist und jetzt von New York an diese Oberschule wechselt.

Währenddessen rückt auch das nächste School-Idol-Festival bereits näher, und der Idol-Club ist damit beschäftigt, ein Promo-Video zu drehen. Lanzhu, die selbst großes Interesse daran hat, ein Idol zu sein, ist vom Ergebnis und somit dem Club so gar nicht überzeugt und beschließt, allein am Festival teilzunehmen. Natürlich wollen sich die Mitglieder des Clubs damit nicht so einfach abfinden. Weil auch bald ein gemeinsamer Auftritt mit der Y.G. International Academy ansteht, beschließen die Clubmitglieder Emma, Kasumi, Kanata und Rina, selbst eine Idolgruppe zu gründen und Lanzhu zu beweisen, dass der Club mehr auf dem Kasten hat, als sie glaubt.
