あらすじ

17-year-old Makoto Konno is in her final year of high school, but she hasn’t yet decided what she wants to do after graduation. For now, she is enjoying school and spending time with her two best friends: the notorious bully Chiaki Mamiya and the hard-working model student Kousuke Tsuda. The three are so inseparable that it is even rumoured again and again that Makoto would have a relationship with one of the two. However, her everyday life changes when she awakens to the strange ability to “jump” backwards through time in the event of mortal danger.

Makoto immediately puts her newfound strength to use, either improving her school grades or getting personal problems out of the way. After all, a surprise test is no longer a surprise if you can take it twice in a row, and small mishaps, such as being late for school, can be easily revised. It’s only when Makoto decides to use this ability to avoid some of the more personal problems with her friends that events become complex and painfully difficult. Because now she has to realise that it is not always so easy to change the past according to her own ideas and wishes – and that her gift could perhaps even be more of a burden …
