Dirty Pair: Lovely Angels yori Ai o Komete (1987)

“Dirty Pair: With Love From the Lovely Angels” tells two more stories about the immensely effective but also chaotic and sometimes dangerous duo Kei and Yuri.

Episode 1: “Eek! The Boy in the Manor Is a Terminator”.
While Yuri is not exactly having the time of her life on her date, her colleague Kei teams up with former Trouble Consultant Calico to take down forger Jobs Garou. In his villa, however, they have to deal with a rather special robot as an opponent.

Episode 2: “R-Really!? For Beautiful Women, ‘Canon’ Is the Keyword to Escape”.
The WWWA’s weapons research lab, in the middle of an inactive volcano, has been raided, and Kei and Yuri’s supervisor has been kidnapped. The WWWA’s chairman considers any form of countermeasure (including rescue) too difficult, so there is only one solution: initiate the self-destruct sequence in the lab. A solution that is, of course, out of the question for the two agents. They promptly set out to save their boss but with literally explosive consequences …

This OVA is the last two produced episodes of the TV series, which were only released on video after the series was discontinued.

Episode 1: »Eek! The Boy in the Manor Is a Terminator«
Während Yuri im Kontext Liebesleben eine nicht gerade förderliche Verabredung durchleben muss, tut sich ihre Kollegin Kei mit dem ehemaligen Trouble Consultant Calico zusammen, um den Fälscher Jobs Garou dingfest zu machen. In dessen Villa bekommen sie es jedoch mit einem ziemlich speziellen Roboter als Gegner zu tun.

Episode 2: »R-Really!? For Beautiful Women, ›Canon‹ Is the Keyword to Escape«
Das Waffenforschungslabor der WWWA, das mitten in einem inaktiven Vulkan liegt, wurde überfallen, dabei wurde auch Keis und Yuris Vorgesetzter entführt. Der Vorsitz der WWWA hält jegliche Form der Gegenmaßnahmen (inkl. Rettung) für zu schwierig, daher gibt es nur eine Lösung: Einleitung der Selbstzerstörungssequenz im Labor. Eine Lösung, die für die zwei Agentinnen natürlich keine ist. Prompt ziehen sie los, um ihren Boss zu retten, allerdings mit wortwörtlich explosiven Konsequenzen …

Anmerkung:
Es handelt sich bei dieser OVA um die letzten beiden produzierten Folgen der TV-Serie, die nach dem Einstellen der Serie nur auf Video erschienen sind.
