Hachiman Hikigaya is in his second year of high school, but as a model loner and outsider, he neither has friends nor any other social connections. But that is about to change, according to his class teacher Shizuka Hiratsuka and she more or less forces him to join a club. This club is the “Service Club” and Hachiman is surprised to see only one person in the club room – the president and sole member of the club, Yukino Yukinoshita. It quickly turns out that, despite her beauty and intelligence, she isn’t particularly sociable, and from now on, the two of them must work together despite their different methods and ideals and help others in the name of the club to maybe one day be able to help themselves.

Hachiman Hikigaya ist bereits im zweiten Jahr der Oberschule, hat allerdings als Mustereinzelgänger und Außenseiter weder Freunde noch sozialen Anschluss gefunden. Doch das soll sich jetzt ändern, meint seine Klassenlehrerin Shizuka Hiratsuka, und zwingt ihn mehr oder weniger, einem Club beizutreten. Hierbei handelt es sich um den »Service Club« und Hachiman staunt nicht schlecht, als er im Clubraum nur eine Person vorfindet: die Präsidentin und auch das einzige Mitglied besagten Clubs, Yukino Yukinoshita. Schnell wird klar, dass auch sie trotz ihrer Schönheit und Intelligenz nicht sonderlich gesellig ist, und fortan müssen die beiden entgegen ihrer unterschiedlichen Methoden und Ideale zusammenarbeiten und anderen im Namen des Service Clubs helfen, um vielleicht irgendwann einmal sich selbst helfen zu können.

Hachiman Hikigaya ya está en su segundo año de bachillerato, pero, como lobo solitario y chico excéntrico, no ha hecho ni amigos ni conexiones sociales de ningún tipo. Pero eso debe cambiar, o al menos eso dice su maestra Shizuka Hiratsuka, quien prácticamente lo obliga a unirse a un club. Se trata de un «Service Club» y Hachiman se sorprende al entrar y ver que solo se encuentra ahí una persona: la presidenta y única miembro del club, Yukino Yukinoshita. Pronto queda claro que ella, pese a su belleza e inteligencia, tampoco es muy sociable. De ese punto en adelante, ellos deben trabajar juntos pese a sus diferentes métodos e ideales y ayudar a otros en nombre del club de servicio, para quizá poder llegar a ayudarse a sí mismos.

Cela fait deux ans que Hachiman Hikigaya est au lycée. Mais en tant que solitaire et outsider, il n’a pas encore trouvé d’amis ou de contact social. Cela va vite changer avec l’arrivée de sa professeure principale Shizuka Hiratsuka, qui l’oblige plus ou moins à rejoindre un club. Il s’agit du « Service Club » et Hachiman est impressionné lorsqu’il ne retrouve qu’une seule personne dans la salle du Club. Il s’agit de la présidente et unique membre dudit club, Yukino Yukinoshita. Il se rend vite compte qu’elle aussi n’est pas spécialement sociable, malgré sa beauté et son intelligence. Ils vont devoir coopérer malgré leurs méthodes et idéaux différents, afin d’aider les autres et peut-être pouvoir s’aider un jour eux-mêmes.

Hachiman Hikigaya si trova ormai nel secondo anno di liceo ma essendo un solitario di primo rango non ha trovato né amici né contatti sociali. La sua insegnante Shizuka Hiratsuka è dell’opinione che è ora di cambiare e lo costringe praticamente a entrare a far parte di in club. Si tratta del club di volontariato della scuola e all’interno della sua stanza Hachiman è sorpreso di trovare una sola persona: la presidentessa e l’unico membro del club, Yukino Yukinoshita. Presto diventa chiaro che anche lei, malgrado la sua bellezza e intelligenza, non è molto socievole. Da quel momento questi due dovranno, nonostante i loro metodi e ideali diversi, lavorare insieme e aiutare altri nel nome del club di volontariato per potere forse, prima o poi, aiutare se stessi.
