Zankyou no Terror (2014)

Tokyo is shaken by a spectacular terrorist attack. It was preceded by a bizarre and not especially noteworthy internet video of two masked youths, called Nine and Twelve. Under the name Sphinx, they hinted at what they were about to do early on – a pattern that they now repeat with every attack. It is unknown what motivates them to carry out these attacks or why they announce them in such a cryptic way. The degraded detective Shibazaki seems to be the only one able to deal with them and a cat-and-mouse game begins between Sphinx and the police. While the terrorists’ identities are still unknown to the public, a girl called Lisa Mishima finds them out by chance. The resulting dangerous acquaintance appears to give Lisa a way to break free from the hell that is her daily life.

Tokio wird von einem spektakulären Terroranschlag erschüttert. Vorausgegangen war ihm ein skurriles und nicht weiter beachtetes Internetvideo von zwei maskierten Jugendlichen, die sich Nine und Twelve nennen. Unter dem Namen Sphinx gaben sie vorab Hinweise auf ihre Tat, ein Muster, das sie nun bei jedem folgenden Anschlag wiederholen. Was sie zu den Anschlägen motiviert, ist unbekannt, ebenso warum sie ihre Taten auf diese kryptische Weise ankündigen. Der degradierte Detektiv Shibazaki scheint es als Einziger mit ihnen aufnehmen zu können und es entwickelt sich ein Katz-und-Maus-Spiel zwischen Sphinx und der Polizei. Während aber die Identität der Terroristen für die Öffentlichkeit weiterhin unbekannt bleibt, wird diese vom Mädchen Lisa Mishima durch Zufall entdeckt. Die sich daraus ergebende gefährliche Bekanntschaft scheint Lisa dabei die Möglichkeit eines Ausbruchs aus der Hölle ihres Lebensalltags zu geben.

Este fue precedido por un extraño vídeo en Internet que no recibió mucha atención, mostrando a dos jóvenes enmascarados que se hacen llamar Nine y Twelve. Bajo el nombre Sphinx, dieron pistas anticipadas a su crimen, un patrón que ahora repiten en cada ataque desde entonces. Se desconoce qué les motiva a cometer los atentados, así como la razón por la que anuncian sus actos de esta forma tan críptica. El degradado detective Shibazaki parece ser el único capaz de enfrentarse a ellos, y se va creando un juego de gato y ratón entre Sphinx y la policía. Pero, mientras la identidad de los terroristas permanece un misterio para el público, esta es descubierta accidentalmente por la niña Lisa Mishima. La peligrosa relación que resulta de esto parece darle a Lisa la posibilidad de escapar del infierno de su vida cotidiana.

Tokyo est secouée par une attaque terroriste spectaculaire. Elle a été précédée par une vidéo étrange, passée inaperçue sur Internet, montrant deux jeunes masqués se faisant appeler Nine et Twelve. Sous le nom de Sphinx, ils ont donné des indices préalables à leur action, un scénario qu’ils répètent désormais à chaque prochaine attaque. On ne sait pas ce qui les motive à commettre ces attaques, ni pourquoi ils annoncent leurs actes de manière aussi énigmatique. Le détective dégradé Shibazaki, semble être le seul capable de les affronter, et un jeu du chat et de la souris se développe entre Sphinx et la police. Mais alors que l’identité des terroristes reste inconnue du public, elle est découverte par hasard par la jeune Lisa Mishima. La dangereuse connaissance qui en résulte semble donner à Lisa la possibilité de s’échapper de l’enfer de son quotidien.

Tokio è colpita da un attacco terroristico spettacolare. A precederlo, un video scurrile e ampiamente ignorato di due ragazzi mascherati, chiamati Nine e Twelve. Sotto il nome di Sphinx hanno dato indizi riguardo al loro agire, schema che seguono per ogni attacco successivo. Non si sa cosa li porta ad organizzare questi attacchi, né la ragione che si nasconde dietro al modo criptico nel quale decidono di annunciarli. L’investigatore degradato Shibazaki sembra l’unico in grado di battersi con loro e si crea un gioco di gatto e topo tra Sphinx e la polizia. Mentre l’identità dei terroristi continua a rimanere nascosta dal pubblico, una ragazzina dal nome di Lisa Mishima la scopre per puro caso. La pericolosa relazione che nasce da questo evento sembra dare a Lisa la possibilità di scappare da quell’inferno che è la sua vita quotidiana.
