Bandai Namco Filmworks Inc. is a subsidiary of BANDAI NAMCO Holdings that focuses on the planning, production, management and administration of intellectual property.

The company emerged from the well-known Japanese animation studio SUNRISE after it was renamed Bandai Namco Filmworks and converted into an imprint so that earlier well-known productions by Sunrise could continue to be released under its brand name.

The renaming with a new logo took place in October 2021, and the entire company structure was reorganised at the same time. The visual arts department was taken over by Bandai Namco Arts. This company was then also completely restructured and renamed Bandai Namco Music Live. The former SUNRISE Music division was then transferred to this company.
