Kai Lucas heuert die Bebop-Crew an, um seinen bösartigen Doppelgänger zu finden. Die Belohnung aber geht futsch, woraufhin Spike und Jet wieder einmal pleite und hungrig sind. Als wäre das nicht genug, endet Spike auch noch auf der »Most Wanted«-Liste der Polizei ‒ entweder als Zielscheibe des Spottes oder als Opfer eines üblen Computerglitches. Noch schlimmer ist allerdings, Ziel eines jeden Kopfgeldjägers im Sonnensystem zu sein oder etwa ein Wunderkind und auch noch eine besondere Spezies bei sich aufzunehmen. Wenn Scorpion oder die Dragon Head Familie sie nicht umbringen, dann werden es die zusätzlich zu fütternden Münder für sie erledigen.
