Heart no Kuni no Alice: Wonderful Wonder World (2008)

During a nap in the garden of her house, strong-willed teenager Alice is suddenly abducted by a mysterious man with rabbit ears who jumps with her into a large black hole in the ground. When she regains her footing after a few anxious moments, the man, who calls himself Peter White, tells her that she is in Heartland and is supposed to take part in a game. Through a trick, he finally manages to get her to sign up. Alice now has to find her way back home in this unknown land, which is divided among rival and sometimes murderous groups, and in the process has to deal with its weird but also dangerous inhabitants.

Die willensstarke Teenagerin Alice wird während eines Nickerchens im Garten ihres Hauses plötzlich von einem mysteriösen Mann mit Hasenohren entführt, der mit ihr in ein großes schwarzes Loch im Boden springt. Als sie nach bangen Momenten wieder festen Boden unter den Füßen hat, eröffnet ihr der Mann, der sich Peter White nennt, dass sie sich in Heartland befindet und hier an einem Spiel teilnehmen soll. Durch einen Trick schafft er es schließlich, dass sie sich dazu verpflichtet. Alice muss nun in diesem unbekannten Land, das unter rivalisierenden und mitunter mordlustigen Gruppierungen aufgeteilt ist, wieder einen Weg nach Hause finden und sich dabei mit dessen schrägen, aber auch gefährlichen Bewohnern herumschlagen.

Alice viene inaspettatamente rapita da un individuo eccentrico con in testa due curiose orecchie bianche da coniglio. Scordatevi però la timida ragazzina che avete già imparato a conoscere nel famoso romanzo di Lewis Carroll: la nostra bionda e candida protagonista è molto più pragmatica e cinica di quello che sembra! Trasportata dal surreale “Bianconiglio” nel misterioso mondo di Heartland, Alice – che timida proprio non è – avrà ben presto modo di conoscere i curiosi abitanti del luogo, come il bellissimo leader mafioso Blood e l’affascinante ma psicotico cavaliere Ace. Ma qual è il destino di Alice? E perché è stata scelta dal “Bianconiglio” e trasportata suo malgrado nel mondo di Heartland?
