Pokémon the Movie XY: Ring no Choumajin Hoopa (2015)

The little prankster Pokémon Hoopa, who likes to play a trick or two on people, has the ability to summon all sorts of things, including legendary Pokémon, with its magic rings. But a very long time ago, there was an even more powerful form of Hoopa known as the Unleashed Hoopa. This malevolent form was so powerful and difficult to defeat that, in the end, it could only be banished into a special bottle by a lone traveller. The bottle was hidden in the depths of a vast cave and never touched again until that day. At least until now, because a young man has found the bottle and released Hoopa’s evil side.

In a desert town by the sea, Ash, Pikachu and their friends meet this feisty Pokémon, and they must help Hoopa overcome his greatest fear in the form of his old, evil side. For just like 100 years before, Dahara City is in grave danger if the unleashed Hoopa’s destructive fury is not stopped soon. In the course of this extremely dangerous battle, in which the two Hoopas even compete by using legendary Pokémon, an ominous secret and a great destiny will be revealed.

Das kleine Schabernack-Pokémon Hoopa, das Menschen gerne den ein oder anderen Streich spielt, besitzt mit seinen magischen Ringen die Fähigkeit, alle möglichen Dinge, einschließlich mystischen Pokémon herbeizurufen. Doch vor sehr langer Zeit gab es eine noch viel mächtigere Form von Hoopa, die als das »entfesselte Hoopa« bekannt war. Diese bösartige Gestalt war so mächtig und schwer zu besiegen, dass sie am Ende nur von einem einsamen Reisenden in eine besondere Flasche verbannt werden konnte. Die Flasche wurde in den Tiefen einer weitläufigen Höhle verborgen und bis zu diesem Tag nicht mehr angerührt. Zumindest bis jetzt, denn ein junger Mann hat die Flasche gefunden und Hoopas böse Seite befreit.

In einer Wüstenstadt am Meer treffen Ash, Pikachu und ihre Freunde auf dieses muntere Pokémon und sie müssen Hoopa helfen, seine größte Angst in Form seiner alten, bösen Seite zu überwinden. Denn genauso wie 100 Jahre zuvor ist Dahara City in großer Gefahr, wenn der Zerstörungswut des entfesselten Hoopas nicht bald Einhalt geboten wird. Im Laufe dieses mehr als gefährlichen Kampfes, in dem die beiden Hoopas sogar mit legendären Pokémon gegeneinander antreten, wird sich ein unheilvolles Geheimnis und ein großes Schicksal offenbaren.
