Owarimonogatari (2017)

“Owarimonogatari Second Season” is set right after the events of “Koyomimonogatari” and continues the story of the anime. After an encounter with the specialist Izuko Gaen, Koyomi wakes up in a strange and completely deserted area. With the help of his girlfriend Hitagi, he starts his search for answers through the mesh of his past and the muddle of the present. But fate allows him a second meeting with the eccentric exchange student Ougi Oshino, who presents him with an unexpected plan to face the enemy that is to blame for the recent problems in the city. While Koyomi explores the secrets around his appearance, he discovers a truth which should never have come to light.

Nach einer Begegnung mit der Spezialistin Izuko Gaen wacht Koyomi in einer seltsamen und völlig verlassenen Umgebung auf. Mit Hilfe seiner Freundin Hitagi begibt er sich auf die Suche nach Antworten durch das Geflecht seiner Vergangenheit und der Verworrenheit der Gegenwart. Doch das Schicksal beschert ihm ein erneutes Treffen mit der exzentrischen Austauschschülerin Ougi Oshino, die ihm einen unerwarteten Plan auftischt, dem Feind entgegenzutreten, der für die kürzlichen Probleme der Stadt verantwortlich ist. Während Koyomi die Geheimnisse um eine Erscheinung erforscht, deckt er eine Wahrheit auf, die niemals ans Licht kommen sollte.
