Saint Seiya: Knights of the Zodiac, the anime adaptation to the “Saint Seiya” manga, takes us along into the world of young Seiya and his heroic journey to become the strongest Saint! Zeus’ beautiful daughter Athena is fiercely contested and always surrounded by powerful young men who give their all to protect her in battle—these young men are “Saints!” The sign of such a Saint is his legendary cloth, which is always based on a stellar constellation.

One day, the young Seiya is driven to Greece to be trained as a Saint and to serve the coveted Athena! He begins his training and receives a bronze cape—the lowest rank among the Saints—which is connected to the constellation of Pegasus. But when the great Saint tournament, the “Galactic War,” begins, giving every Saint the chance to acquire the Golden Cloth—the sign of the leader of all Saints—,no one yet suspects which dark forces are moving in secret … While Seiya and the other young Saints fight to the death, Phoenix, the Black Saint, appears and steals the Golden Cloth before the eyes of all participants and spectators! He strives for the power of the cloth and wants to become the ruler of the world …

Now it is on Seiya and the other young bronze Saints to defeat Phoenix and his “Shadow Army,” return the Golden Cloth and restore peace to the world!
