Gekijouban Made in Abyss: Fukaki Tamashii no Reimei (2020)

“Made in Abyss: Dawn of the Deep Soul” continues adapting the story of Akihito Tsukushi’s “Made in Abyss” manga where the previous season left off.

On their way to the deepest point of the abyss, Riko and Reg are able to advance into the fourth layer, where they are rescued by a creature named Nanachi. As a child, Nanachi was once brought into the depths of the abyss by the Whitepipe Bondrewd. After she had been used as a test subject for an experiment in the sixth layer, she lost her human form. Finally, she escaped from the notorious cave diver and his cruel practices. Riko and Reg are able to convince Nanachi to leave the fourth layer behind and join them on their descent. Nanachi’s knowledge of the lower layers should prove quite helpful, but a reunion with the “Lord of Dawn,” Bondrewd, seems to be unavoidable. Bondrewd and his troops linger about at the only entrance of the sixth layer, which can only be activated by a Whitepipe …

Auf dem Weg zum tiefsten Punkt des Abyss konnten Riko und Reg bis in die vierte Tiefenschicht vordringen und werden dort von einem Wesen namens Nanachi aus einer misslichen Lage gerettet. Dieses kam einst als Kind mit der Weißpfeife Bondrewd in die Tiefen des Abgrunds. Missbraucht als Versuchskaninchen für ein Experiment, verlor es bei einem Aufstieg aus der sechsten Tiefenschicht seine menschliche Form. Schließlich floh es vor dem berüchtigten Höhlentaucher und dessen grausamen Praktiken. Riko und Reg können Nanachi überzeugen, die vierte Tiefenschicht hinter sich zu lassen und mit ihnen den Abstieg fortzuführen. Während Nanachis Wissen um die tieferen Schichten des Abgrunds der Gruppe sehr gelegen kommt, scheint indes ein Wiedersehen mit dem »Lord der Dämmerung« Bondrewd früher oder später unumgänglich. Dieser treibt sich mit seiner Truppe nämlich am einzigen Eingang zur sechsten Tiefenschicht herum, der nur durch eine Weißpfeife aktiviert werden kann …

En se rendant au point le plus profond de l’abysse, Riko et Reg ont atteint la quatrième couche de profondeur, où ils sont sauvés d’une situation difficile par un être nommé Nanachi. Il est venu dans les profondeurs de l’Abysse comme un enfant avec le sifflet blanc Bondrewd. Abusé comme cobaye pour une expérimentation, il a perdu sa forme humaine lors d’une ascension depuis la sixième couche profonde. Il a finalement fui le tristement célèbre plongeur des cavernes et ses pratiques cruelles. Riko et Reg parviennent à convaincre Nanachi de laisser la quatrième couche de profondeur derrière eux et de continuer la descente. Alors que les connaissances de Nanachi sur les couches profondes de l’Abysse s’avèrent utiles pour le groupe, les retrouvailles avec le « Seigneur de l’aurore » Bondrewd semblent inévitables. Lui et sa troupe traînent à l’unique entrée de la sixième couche de l’abîme, qui ne peut être activée que par un sifflet blanc…

Verso il punto più profondo dell’Abisso, Riko e Reg sono riusciti ad arrivare fino al quarto strato di profondità, dove vengono salvati da una difficile situazione, da un essere di nome Nanachi. Questa da bambina è arrivata nelle profondità dell’abisso insieme al signore dell’alba Bondold. Sfruttata come cavia per un esperimento, ha perso durante la risalita dal sesto strato la sua forma umana. Finalmente fuggì dal famigerato sommozzatore di grotte e le pratiche crudeli. Riko e Reg riescono a convincere Nanachi di abbandonare il quarto strato e di proseguire con loro la salita. Mentre la conoscenza di Nanachi degli strati più profondi è molto utile al gruppo, sarà inevitabile, prima o poi, un incontro con il signore dell’alba, Bondold. Infatti, egli si aggira, con il suo gruppo, intorno all’unica entrata del sesto strato che può essere attivato solo tramite un fischietto bianco.
