あらすじ

It is the 22nd century; Tokyo has been completely destroyed due to two devastating earthquakes. A new city – Bayside – was eventually built on the old ruins, serving as Japan’s primary overseas port. The great disaster attracted terrorists who now make life hell for the citizens through numerous attacks. As even the mayor and the municipal police are overwhelmed with the situation, a new law is passed: private companies are now allowed to participate in the fight against terrorism; they are paid per delivery.

The Angel Arms Company is one of these private firms, started by a former policewoman, Takako. The company consists of six women hunting down criminals with the help of armoured combat suits, so-called Landmates. They capture the famous arms smuggler Ali Jaheeve Hassan and are assigned to guard him until he is sentenced. However, Alisa, one of the team members, is caught up in her past. She realises that her adversary is her former great love, which presents her with a difficult decision: should she stay on the team, come to terms with the past and move on with her new life, or is it better to give up her new life and return to the love of her life? Which path will Alisa choose?
