The story is about Medaka Kurokami, the strongest girl at Hanokiwa Academy, who is the head of the school representative council. The student body can submit requests and complaints 24 hours a day, 365 days a year into the suggestion box that Medaka has introduced. Together with the student council members Zenkichi Hitoyoshi, Kouki Akune and Mogana Kikaijima, Medaka faces the challenges at school and always tries to solve the students’ problems, which are often of a supernatural nature and call for fights.
