Gekijouban Pocket Monsters: Best Wishes - Victini to Kuroki Eiyuu Zekrom (2011)

Travelling through the Unova region, Ash and his friends Iris and Cilan reach Eindoak Town. There, they are told a legend about the Sword of the Vale, a landmark of the town, which is said to have left its previous location in the lowlands a long time ago and was brought to its current position to seal the Dragon Force, a destructive power. During the town’s harvest festival, the friends meet the mystical Pokémon Victini, whose power was supposedly used to move the Sword of the Vale, as well as Damon and his family. Damon has the plan to use the legendary Pokémon Reshiram and Victini’s power to bring the Sword back to the Lowlands, bringing the area back to life and fulfilling his mother’s wish. However, this endeavour has dangerous consequences, and Ash must bring in Zekrom, another legendary Pokémon, to help prevent the worse from happening.

Annotation:
This film is almost identical to the film “Pokémon The Movie: Black – Victini and Reshiram”, but both films have some differences – for example, the roles of the Pokémon Reshiram and Zekrom are reversed in each case.

Bei ihrer Reise durch die Einall-Region erreichen Ash und seine Freunde Lilia und Benny die Stadt Eindoak Town. Dort erzählt man sich eine Legende über die Schwertburg, ein Wahrzeichen der Stadt, die vor langer Zeit ihren vorigen Standort im Tiefland verlassen haben soll und an ihre jetzige Position gebracht wurde, um eine zerstörerische Kraft, die Drachenenergie, zu versiegeln. Während des Erntedankfestes der Stadt lernen die Freunde das mystische Pokémon Victini kennen, dessen Kraft angeblich dazu verwendet wurde, um die Schwertburg zu bewegen, sowie Damon und seine Familie. Damon hat den Plan, mithilfe des legendären Pokémon Reshiram und mit Victinis Kraft die Schwertburg wieder zurück ins Tiefland zu bringen, um die Gegend wieder zum Leben zu erwecken und den Wunsch seiner Mutter zu erfüllen. Doch hat dieses Unterfangen gefährliche Konsequenzen und Ash muss Zekrom, ein weiteres legendäres Pokémon, zur Hilfe holen, um Schlimmeres zu verhindern.

Anmerkung:
Dieser Film ist beinahe mit dem Film »Pokémon – Der Film: Schwarz – Victini und Reshiram« identisch, doch weisen beide Filme einige Unterschiede auf ‒ so sind die Rollen der Pokémon Reshiram und Zekrom jeweils vertauscht.
