あらすじ

In “Starship Troopers: Invasion”, the starship Alesia is on a rescue mission. A United Citizen Federation outpost located on an asteroid has been attacked and possibly taken by the Arachnids, an alien species. The mobile infantry of the starship Alesia, led by Lieutenant Tony Daughtery, is ordered to search for survivors of the local crew, the K-12 Team. Despite several skirmishes, the operation succeeds. When the group arrives at the rendezvous point to be flown out together with the evacuees, the rescue ship, the John A. Warden, simply flies away.

The whole situation is quite strange given that Minister Carl Jenkins had commandeered this ship especially for the mission. Moreover, a warrant has been issued for the arrest of the leader of the K-12 Team in order to take him away as a prisoner. Tony Daughtery’s unit finds the spaceship with the minister inside, but the task force has arrived too late: the ship has already been taken over by an Archnid queen and is now on course for Earth. A race against time begins, in which the humans start with a clear disadvantage. Can they render the queen harmless before the aliens reach Earth and spread there?
