Orihime INOUE

There are a lot of things i wanted to do. I wanted to become a teacher, and an astronaut, and a baker… I wanted to go to a bunch of different donut shops and ask for one of everything! And I wanted to tell the ice-cream man to give me one of everything, too! I wish i could have five lives! Then i could have been born in five different towns, and eaten five lifetime’s worth of food, and had five different careers, and… fallen in love with the same person, five times.

Maybe it’s impossible to feel exactly the same way as another person, but it’s possible for people to care about one another and to place their hearts as close together as they can manage. I’m sure that’s what it means to make your hearts as one .

It’s impossible to feel exactly the same as someone else… but when you both care for each other, your hearts are able to draw a little closer together. I think that’s what it means to make your hearts as one.

If I were the rain that bind together the earth and sky, who in all eternity will never mingle, would I be able to bind the hearts of people together?
