Jung-Joon is a good-looking, successful editor for a fashion magazine – but it wasn’t always like this! In his youth, he was fat and ugly and had no friends. Only the beautiful and popular Hye-Jin later became his girlfriend. Unfortunately, Jung-Joon had to leave South Korea because of his father, and their friendship broke up over time …

Years later, the two finally want to meet again, but Hye-Jin has also changed – and unlike Jung-Joon, not for the better. Once a beautiful, almost perfect woman, she is now unemployed and poor. And to prevent her first love from seeing her like this, she asks her pretty friend Ha-Ri for help: she is to pretend to be Hye-Jin and make him believe that she is flying to England the very next day.

She finally gets a job at the magazine “The Most”. Unfortunately for her, Jung-Joon is employed there as an editor and thus her direct superior. However, he does not recognise his former childhood friend and treats her like dirt. On top of that, Shin-hyuk, a good friend from work, falls in love with Hye-Jin … Will this end well?

Jung-Joon ist ein gut aussehender, erfolgreicher Editor für ein Modemagazin – doch das war nicht immer so! In seiner Jugend war er nämlich dick, hässlich und hatte keine Freunde. Nur die wunderschöne und beliebte Hye-Jin wurde später seine Freundin. Leider musste Jung-Joon wegen seines Vaters Südkorea verlassen; die Freundschaft zerbrach mit der Zeit …

Jahre später wollen die beiden sich endlich wieder treffen, doch auch Hye-Jin hat sich verändert – und im Gegensatz zu Jung-Joon nicht zum Guten. Einst eine wunderschöne, nahezu perfekte Frau, ist sie nun arbeitslos und arm. Und damit ihre erste Liebe sie so nicht zu Gesicht bekommt, bittet sie ihre hübsche Freundin Ha-Ri um Hilfe: Sie soll sich als Hye-Jin ausgeben und ihm weismachen, dass sie bereits am nächsten Tag nach England fliegt.

Sie schafft es schließlich, bei dem Magazin »The Most« einen Job bekommt. Zu ihrem Unglück ist genau dort Jung-Joon als Editor angestellt und somit ihr direkter Vorgesetzter. Er erkennt seine ehemalige Jugendfreundin jedoch nicht wieder und behandelt sie wie Dreck. Noch dazu verliebt sich Shin-hyuk, ein guter Freund von der Arbeit, in Hye-Jin … Ob das gut ausgehen wird?
