Auf der offiziellen Internetseite von Jigoku Shojo wurde der Titel zur dritten Staffel enthüllt: Jigoku Shôjo Mitsuganae. Somit enthält der Titel auch die Staffelnummer im Namen

Jigoku Shojo wird weiterhin von Studio Deen produziert. Weitere Details zur neuen Staffel sind noch nicht bekannt.

hmm frag mich um was es in der 3rd season gehen wird...würd mich natürlich hammer freuen wenn enma wieder da wär, aber nach ende der 2nd season....kp wie das gehen soll. Bin ma gespannt obs n prequel, sequel, spin off oder fortsetzung sein wird

Also ich kann mir auch nicht vorstellen, dass dies eine weiterführung sein kann. Vielleicht läuft es ja nur unter dem namen 3.Staffel und hatt in wirklichkeite ne andere haldlung kam schlieslich auch schon vor.
