Am 03. März wurden die Pläne für eine Tetsuwan Birdy DECODE-OVA bekanntgegeben.

Es wird berichtet, dass die OVA eine nicht ausgestrahlte Episode sein soll, die die beiden Staffeln miteinander verknüpfen sollte. Voraussichtlich soll die OVA am 22. Juli 2009 veröffentlicht werden.
