Jun Fukuyama is a Japanese voice actor, singer, and narrator.
In 1997, he made his debut as a narrator in a radio commercial for Asuka magazine and graduated from Aonijuku Osaka School, a training school of the talent agency Aoni Production. Two years later, Fukuyama joined Production Baobab and landed his first leading role with Akira Kamui in “Mutekioh TRI-ZENON” (2000). In 2006, he was awarded the top prize for male voice actor at both the “Anican Japan Awards” and the “Anime Grand Prix 2006”. Fukuyama also won the best voice actor award at the “Manga Best Ten 2006”. The following year, he won the title of best male seiyuu at the first “Seiyuu Awards” and also won the top prize again at the “Anican Japan Awards”. In 2008, Fukuyama was awarded the top prize in the voice acting category of the “30th Anime Grand Prix” organised by Animages magazine, and he also won for the third time in a row at the “Anican Japan Awards”. In 2009, he received the Voice Actor Award at the “Tokyo International Anime Fair 2009” and the newly introduced “Overseas Fan’s Award” at the third “Seiyu Awards”. At the “31st Anime Grand Prix”, he was repeatedly able to take the top prize. Seven years later, he won for the third time at the “31st Anime Grand Prix”.
In 2011, Fukuyama Production left Baobab and was signed to the talent agency Axl-One. Alongside his work as a voice actor, he entered the music industry and realised his first single, “KEEP GOING ON!” in February 2017 with Pony Canyon. After quitting Axl-One, Fukuyama founded the dubbing agency BLACK SHIP together with Shinnosuke Tachibana in April 2018.
